Kelly Lloyd: Noontime Research Sharing Sessions
There's still time to come along to today's Noontime Research Sharing Session with Creative in Residence, Kelly Lloyd. Kelly will share her research into artist-in-residence programmes in museums and galleries. Drop-in sessions take place in the gallery on Tuesdays 29 August and 5, 12, 19, 26 September.

Meet our Creatives in Residence
Have you seen the artists at work in our exhibition spaces? Throughout Boundary Encounters, five Creatives-in-Residence are developing their participatory practices with us. Drop by for the chance to meet artists Jane Castree, Hannah Fredsgaard-Jones, Anya Gleizer, Kelly Lloyd and Harmanpreet Randhawa.

We've loved welcoming visitors of all ages to our drop-in live drawing sessions. Join us in the galleries each Friday, 12-4pm for larger-than-life digital drawing as part of our participatory project, Encounters Studio.

Creative Space activities
Described as 'sensory heaven' by Little Oxplorers, our Creative Space is packed with playful activities for all ages. Free to visit and no need to book, the space is open for you each day during the summer holidays.

Weekly spotlight: MAO Archive
Visit Boundary Encounters to delve into Modern Art Oxford’s rich history through audio works, community collaborations, archive photos and ephemera. From its very beginning, Modern Art Oxford has been shaped by people and ideas from visitors, artists, and staff alike. Head to our middle galleries to start your discovery.
Be a part of our exciting redesign! David Kohn Architects and the Modern Art Oxford team welcome you take part in a collaborative workshop sharing plans for the future of our spaces. 14 September, 6.30-8pm. Free, booking essential.

Activating our Archives: Community Centres Takeover
Activating our Archives is a group project bringing together communities through photography and curation. Celebrate and join in at this special event in collaboration with Fusion Arts and local community centres. Drop in on 9 September, 1-4pm.

COMING SOON Platform Graduate Award 2023
Celebrating new artistic talent from across the South East, Platform Graduate Award artists are coming soon to Modern Art Oxford. Across three consecutive solo exhibitions, discover exciting works by graduate artists from Oxford Brookes University, University of Reading and Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford. Platform is on from 21 September - 29 October and is free to visit.
The much-loved Ark-T Centre in Oxford is moving to Templars Square Shopping Centre after over 20 years in their Crowell Road location. Opening in mid-September, in the meantime they are seeking volunteers to help them set up the space, along with donations of wall paint, carpet and artificial grass. To lend a hand, get in touch by contacting tracey@ark-t.org.
