Black Onyx & Diamond Tablet style drop earrings, $4,400

My theme for this month is Rubies. Amongst quite a few pieces I have selected three jewels.
What I term as a “core” item is my Ruby and Diamond “Circle of Life” pendant on chain.
I was recently asked to see if I could sell for a client this truly beautiful Ruby and Diamond bow brooch. It’s in wonderful condition and was probably made around 1900.
Finally these Estate drop earrings. Mounted in all 18 carat yellow gold with Rubies, Akoya pearls and Diamonds, they’re easy to wear and not too showy. Rubies are described as giving courage and confidence. Royalty have historically worn Rubies to attract wealth and prosperity! I do like the sound of that!
Finally a jewellery quote from the infamous Harry Winston that I totally agree with… “People will stare, make it worth their while!”
Warmly,
