Affordable Housing Bond Aggregator (AHBA) Amount: Undisclosed
Closing Date: 10 September 2024
Purpose: Housing Australia provides low-cost finance to registered community housing providers (CHPs) for social and affordable housing projects via the AHBA. To apply for an AHBA loan, applicants must: - Be a Community Housing Provider (CHP) registered under a law of, or under a scheme administered by, a State or a Territory
- Have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Have an Australian bank
account
- Legally constituted and do you exist at the date of lodging this form
What can AHBA be used for?- Acquiring new housing
- Constructing new housing
- Maintaining existing housing
- Assisting with working capital requirements and/or general corporate requirements

Cancer Patient Care Program Amount: $400,000.00 - $1 million

Purpose: Eligible community and cancer advocacy groups can seek funding for one-off, time-limited activities to ensure that all Australian’s living with cancer have access to high-quality and culturally safe support throughout their cancer experience. For more information: Click here

Community Safety Grants Program Amount: $500,000 and $2 million
Closing Date: 11 July 2024
Purpose: The program will provide funding to peak Police Citizens’ Youth Clubs and peak Blue Light Organisations to help young people under 25 and at risk of entering the criminal justice system to engage with family and community. For more information: Click here

Cyber Security Awareness Grants Amount: $35,000 - $1.5 million
Closing Date: 11 July 2024
Purpose: To work with vulnerable members of their communities and reduce the impact of cyber-crime.
These groups will include remote and regional communities, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, First Nations communities, young people, seniors, people with disability and neuro-diverse people. For more information: Click here

Industry Growth Program Amount: $50,000 - $5 million
Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: Supporting innovative small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups to commercialise their ideas and grow their businesses. There are two matched funding grant opportunities: - $50,000 - $250,000 to support early-stage commercialisation projects
- $100,000 - $5 million for commercialisation and growth projects.

International Engagement Fund Amount: $5,000 - $30,000

Purpose: To support Australian artists and creative workers including groups and organisations to undertake reciprocal exchange projects with confirmed international partners. For more information: Click here

My First Speech Competition Closing Date: 27 July 2024
Purpose: The competition asks students in years 10 to 12 to imagine themselves as a newly elected Member of the House of Representatives. The task is to write a 90 second first speech highlighting issues they are passionate about and record themselves presenting the speech on video. It is designed to increase youth engagement with the House; in particular with high school and college students. A winner from each year group (10, 11 and 12) will be invited to Canberra to deliver their speeches live and undertake a program of meetings at Parliament House. For more information: Click here

National Justice Reinvestment Program Amount: $20 million
Closing Date: 10 September 2024
Purpose: The National Justice Reinvestment Program is a long-term, community-led approach to shifting people’s interactions away from the justice system by investing in preventative and rehabilitation measures, informed by local stories, evidence and data. For more information: Click here

School Student Broadband Initiative Amount: Access 12 months free broadband
Closing Date: 31 December 2024
Purpose: To provide up to 30,000 families with no internet at home free NBN for 12 months. To be eligible, a family must: - Have a child living at home that is enrolled in an Australian school.
- Have no active broadband service over the NBN network.

Strengthening Social Cohesion Grants Amount: $12.25 million
Closing Date: Undisclosed
Purpose: To support Australian Palestinian, Muslim and other communities affected by the Hamas-Israel conflict. The first round of funding will provide $12.25 million for affected Palestinian, Muslim and other communities, including: - $7 million for national programs addressing social cohesion impacts felt across communities in Australia;
- $1.25 million to expand and enhance existing social cohesion projects; and
- $4 million for community-led grass roots programs.

Veterans’ Acute Housing Program Amount: $30 million
Closing Date: 13 September 2024
Purpose: To provide funding to eligible organisations to improve housing outcomes for veterans and their families. The Program will provide up to $30 million in grant funding under 2 streams: - $24 million in capital works funding for projects to expand the availability of crisis and transitional housing under the Veterans’ Acute Housing Program – Capital Works Grant (Capital Works Grant); and
- $6 million to fund organisations to deliver specialist support services that address the risk factors for
homelessness under the Veterans’ Acute Housing Program – Specialist Services Grant (Specialist Services Grant).

Energy Consumer Australia Amount: $15,000

Purpose: To enable residential or small business consumer advocacy by participation in current or forthcoming government, regulatory, or industry decision-making processes, or for small, targeted research projects. For more information: Click here

Tertiary Health Study Subsidies Amount: $12,000

Purpose: Are you a student enrolled in a health care degree? You can now apply for up to $12,000 in subsidies to support you in your studies!
This initiative will create a future pipeline of health workers with up to 850 nursing students, 400 medical students and 150 midwifery students expected to enter the subsidy program each year. For more information: Click here

National Pies for Local Heroes Amount: $1,000 - $10,000
Applications close: Last day of each month
Purpose: Any registered Australian community group, sporting club or not-for-profit organisation can apply. We’ll award a grant of $1,000 each month over the next 12 months, beginning in March 2024. We’ll also award a major grant of $10,000 at the end of the program.
