Outdoor pools in Broadford, Seymour and Tallarook will be open all long weekend from 12pm to 6pm each day - if the forecast temperature by the Bureau of Meteorology is 26 degrees or higher.

Our splash park in Wallan will open from 10am to 8pm, regardless of the temperature, except in the case of extreme storms or high winds.

Plenty to see and do this long weekend

Whether you're looking to showcase our part of the world to visiting family and friends, or you just want to get out and about on your own, there's something for everyone in Mitchell.

You can enjoy a family day out in Wallan at the Community Bank® Adventure Playground, a day of cycling on the Great Victorian Rail Trail from Tallarook, a glass of locally made wine in Tooborac, or enjoy the serenity sitting on the banks of the Goulburn River in Seymour.

Looking for more ideas for visiting family and friends? Visit our Discover Mitchell website, or drop in and see the team at our Visitor Information Centre (VIC) in Seymour.

The VIC has just reopened after a long closure due to COVID, and we're so excited to be back welcoming visitors to our wonderful region.

The centre is open from 10am to 4pm on Thursday to Sunday each week, and the team can provide a range of advice and recommendations no matter what style of travel you like.
