Welcome to the second August edition of the Salamanca Market stallholder news

Hi everyone,

We have some more information to share with you this month so welcome to our second newsletter. In this edition, you will find information about potential stamp duty refunds for licensed stallholders, grant information for wine and cider producers, new forms for booking stall sites and leave absences and we also extend a warm welcome to our new team member, Henry.

This month, we also say farewell to our valued team member, Taryn Townsend.  During her time with City of Hobart, Taryn has made a significant contribution to the market across many projects and improvements, and was a key part of the work with public health to get the market back up and running during Covid.  We wish Taryn all the very best with the next chapter in her career.

Welcome to Henry

The Salamanca Market team would like to welcome Henry Fagg. Henry is already a well-known part of the City of Hobart team and has joined us in a stallholder coordinator role. He is currently learning all the mechanics of preparing for the market, alongside Thea and Rob. Henry is already a regular visitor to the market and will be down on-site in his new capacity soon and is looking forward to meeting stallholders.
