SCCA FAMILY FRIENDLY SCAVENGER HUNT TOMORROW! - OCT 22!
A fun Susquehanna SCCA-sponsored scavenger hunt style Road Rally (think Lemons Rally…) will be held in the south-central PA region on October 22nd. There will be friends, food, fun, and of course shenanigans! Come in the morning for a Cars & Coffee event at Big Hill Ciderworks Taphouse (Gardners, PA) and meet the other competitors as well. Road Rally participants will then leave straight from the Cars & Coffee and compete in the Road Rally until mid-afternoon, when they return to Big Hill Ciderworks for a food truck, drinks, and awards! Award categories include: Most points, Most roadside attractions found, Most unnecessary horsepower, and Best team theme.
More information will be released in the coming weeks.

October Regional Meeting - Appalachian Brewing Company

We’re going to continue rotating venues in 2023! Keep your eyes peeled each month to make sure you know where we’ll be meeting!
This month’s meeting will be held at Appalachian Brewing Company at 50 N Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101. All members are encouraged to attend. Come an hour early for dinner (and a drink) with other members. Please make sure to let the host know that you’re with the SCCA group so they seat us all together.

’24 Hoosier Super Tour Schedule Announced
OCT 20, 2023 — With the 2023 Summit Racing Equipment SCCA® Road Racing schedule coming to a close, it’s time to look into what’s in store for the coming year, namely the 2024 Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour, which will span from the second weekend in January at Sebring International Raceway to the fourth weekend in June at Road America. Racers will recognize many familiar (and popular) circuits on the coming year’s Hoosier Super Tour schedule, with one new addition to spice things up.
Like in the past, the Hoosier Super Tour season will conclude at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs®, held in 2024 at Road America on Sept. 28-Oct. 6.
Women On Track Building Community at Time Trials Nationals
OCT 15, 2023 — Though the name is “Women on Track,” the mission is slightly larger – to get more women participating in motorsports, no matter how best to do it. That includes driving on track, sure, but also autocross, and participating in other ways like volunteering at events or working as a mechanic.
The first part of that mission is to make sure women feel included – which is a different feeling than “not being excluded.”
'23 Member of Excellence Nominations Now Being Accepted
OCT 17, 2023 — The Sports Car Club of America® is accepting nominations for the Club’s Member of Excellence Award that acknowledges great volunteer commitment to SCCA motorsports.
The nomination deadline for the 2023 Member of Excellence award is Monday, Nov. 27, 2023. The award winner will be announced during the virtual 2024 SCCA Virtual National Convention. Aside from the recognition, the recipient is given the opportunity to attend any motorsport event of their choosing – with an expense cap of $5,000 – anywhere on the planet.
Dirt Flies When You're Having Fun: RallyCross Champs Crowned
OCT 8, 2023 — The 17th SCCA® RallyCross® National Championship took place Oct. 6-8, 2023, at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, KS, the same location that hosted the event just three years prior. Building on the experience earned in 2020, this year’s National Championship event was designed to maximize driving time and fun – great weather was just a bonus. The result was nearly 80 competitors making the trek to the Sunflower State, with two drivers earning championships in both 2020 and 2023, and three drivers successfully defending the RallyCross titles they earned one year ago.
