ESTATE AGENTS VALUERS AND SURVEYORS ![]() Welcome to our New Year Newsletter. It is very busy again here in English Harbour now the High season is once more in full swing. The traditional Christmas Day charity champagne party in Nelsons Dockyard was back and well supported, as were the New Years Eve fireworks. There has been a reshuffle of the restaurant pack in English Harbour this season with some new openings; Garrisons 57th Street Fried Chicken and Los Cabrones Mexican Cantina are now where Life on the Corner and The Mad Mongoose once stood. Meanwhile just around the corner Trappas is now in its 20th year. Further along the strip, Moxy's has now become NiRo, with some great reviews and Life bar will soon reappear, next to 5 Senses. Over at Galleon Beach where once there was Calabash and before that Colombo's, now down on the beach there is The Loose Cannon which has already become very popular with its celebrity TV chef proprietor. Further afield on the west coast, Tamarind Hills have opened a very smart new restaurant and beach club on Ffreyes Beach and the same team behind the Loose Cannon have taken over and will soon be re-opening a re-vamped Jacqui O's. There continues to be talk that Nikki Beach are coming to Antigua and why not, Robert De Niro's Nobu already sits on the beach in Barbuda.
