Because of that, we changed the numbers in the registration system (motorsportreg.com) where we will NO LONGER allow leading zeros in the number pool. If you have previously registered with a number that has a leading zero, please make sure you prepare your car for the next event. A few items for anyone who has questions with classing and numbering for your car for the events. The full set of rules is here - you can find it on page 41. Here are a couple of quick guidelines:

News from SCCA Top 5 Cars That’ll Rip It Up in Time Trials and AutocrossJUN 21, 2023 — Can cars compete successfully in SCCA® Time Trials competition and still own the SCCA Autocross course? Indeed they can, and you’re about to find out which five cars have the highest likelihood of living that dream. For simplicity’s sake, we’ll focus on the Sport and Tuner classes that compete in Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour Powered by Hagerty (TTNT) competition, as those are where – like in the Solo program – cars get classed specifically. Obviously, the Max class at TTNT events is a great crossover for CAM, XS, and other “builder” cone-dodging classes, but for today’s mental gymnastics, we’ll focus on a handful of cars from the Street and Street Touring autocross classes that also compete successfully in TTNT’s Sport and Tuner classes. Let’s dive in, breaking it down into Time Trials categories. SCCA Women on Track Awards Two Road Racing ScholarshipsJUN 14, 2023 — Two women drivers will advance their racing careers thanks to scholarships granted by the SCCA Women on Track program. The scholarships were a grand opportunity in search of enthusiastic applicants from the general public as well as SCCA members. Funded by the SCCA Foundation, the 2023 SCCA Women on Track Road Racing Scholarships provide two women with $1,000 each in financial assistance to go wheel-to-wheel racing through an SCCA®-accredited Drivers’ School. This year’s recipients join last year’s inaugural Road Racing Scholarship winners Amanda Haines and Sarah Tarnowski in transforming dreams into reality.Stop It! Keeping Your Tow Vehicle Under ControlJUN 20, 2023 — Stopping is a necessary evil of motorsports. We all want to go fast, but to accomplish that, you need brakes that keep you out of trouble. This applies to road courses, autocrosses, RallyCrosses, and RoadRallies, but it’s especially true when getting to the SCCA® event in the first place – doubly if towing. “Let's be clear: Every vehicle that rolls new off the lot and every set of brake pads and rotors new out of the box provide standard, adequate stopping power,” Hawk Performance (the official Brake Products of SCCA) notes in an extensive blog post covering, among other things, brake considerations while towing. “The important question every truck, Jeep, and SUV owner needs to ask themselves is if ‘adequate’ is really good enough. Unless it’s strictly smooth sailing on quiet streets that never pose stop-and-go surprises, avoid hilly terrain, and there’s absolutely nothing in that truck bed, the answer is most likely no.” Solo Nats & Test n Tune Registrations Open SoonJUN 12, 2023 — Like homecomings?
