Trek 4 Timor Perth 2026The Uniting Church WA’s International Partnerships & Development Commission (IPDC) invites you to join them for Trek 4 Timor 2026 on Saturday 16 May starting at 1.00pm! The event raises money for our Synod partner Lafaek Diak who operate a mobile health clinic in Timor Leste. The clinic operates out of the back of a 4WD, and works its way around the remote villages of East Timor delivering vital medical aid and services, health promotion education and care, immunisations and clinics. Starting and ending at Saint
Stephen’s Uniting Church in Applecross, there will be two walk options for people to choose – 3.4km and 6.8km – finishing the day with afternoon refreshments at the church! Registrations are now open!
You can register to walk and fundraise or simply support this great cause with a donation. You could also consider sponsoring a friend or member of your congregation!

Work With Us - Social Justice OfficerThe Uniting Church WA is seeking a part-time Social Justice Officer to support policy research, advocacy, campaigns and community engagement. This role is ideal for a thoughtful researcher and skilled communicator committed to justice, compassion and social change who wants their work to have real impact. This is a part-time maximum term position (0.3fte, 1.5 days per week negotiable with possibility of extension) and will be based at the Uniting Church Centre in Perth.

The Hive is an opportunity for people interested and engaged in social justice issues to connect, support and encourage each other, and to potentially contribute to resourcing the wider church in your area of interest.
