With the Preliminary Safety Form deadline at the end of last month, you might be tempted to forget about Safety. However, you should keep it up-to-date as your project changes until the final deadline in September, making sure to include information in your Check-In and Animal Use Forms. Check-In Forms should be filled out any time your team is considering using organisms that are NOT on the White List of pre-approved organisms and parts. In addition to this, the *NEW* Animal Use Form has been created for teams wishing to use ANY vertebrates OR higher-order invertebrates. All teams should be safe in iGEM.
