INNOVATION PROGRAMS & FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES I-CORPS AT NIHI-Corps at NIH is an entrepreneurship training program specifically designed for companies that received Small Business Innovation Research or Small Business Technology Transfer funding from NIH and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). During this 8-week, hands-on program, you’ll learn how to focus your business plan and get the tools to bring your treatment to the patients who need it most. You will also learn how to effectively communicate your idea to to create a one minute elevator pitch and present your findings with customer discovery. Applications are due by December 9, 2024 at 3pm. Participants gain access to monthly interactive webinars on crucial aspects of medical device development, personalized one-on-one mentorship with industry experts for refining and scaling their products, and a virtual showcase event. At the program's conclusion, selected companies will present their innovations to investors, BARDA representatives, and other government entities, competing for a prize of up to $50,000.
