What is iGEMeta & JoGL? 
Why is it important to iGEMers?

iGEMeta is an initiative to bring together the iGEM community through data.Through iGEM's history, the competition has generated about 2,000 projects, from over 40 countries which the help of 30,000 participants. This immense  amount of work and data generated by our community can now be viewed through the sophisticated analysis from Just One Giant Lab (JoGL)

 

Wiki Editing:

JoGL data shows how starting your wiki early and updating it often can impact your work. See how wiki edits impact team performance by viewing all the hard work of your team has done in the 'waterfall' image and heat map of team behavior.

Important Deadlines Fast Approaching!

August 31: Make sure to register by the August 31st deadline to secure your poster and presentation slot. At least one team member must register for the Giant Jamboree before this date to secure your team's slot at the Giant Jamboree. To avoid a late fee, ALL team members should register by August 31. Register here:  http://2017.igem.org/Giant_Jamboree/Register

September 1: Title and Abstract Freeze

September 1: Track Selection Freeze

September 8: Team Roster Freeze

Jamboree Updates

Attend the Giant Jamboree!

Event Registration: Make sure to register by the August 31st deadline to secure your poster and presentation slot. To avoid a late fee, ALL team members should register by August 31. Register here:  http://2017.igem.org/Giant_Jamboree/Register

Accommodations: Rooms are filling up quickly! Book your rooms early. iGEM has made arrangements for a special hotel room block for Giant Jamboree attendees. Learn more by visiting: http://2017.igem.org/Giant_Jamboree/Accommodations

Become a Volunteer: For iGEM alumni and non-team members only. We are looking for volunteers to help us make the 2017 Giant Jamboree an amazing experience for all! If you can commit to at least 2 days between November 8 -13 and can be in Boston, MA, apply to be a Volunteer before the August 31 2017 deadline. Learn more: http://2017.igem.org/Giant_Jamboree/Volunteers

Have a fun team video displaying your iGEM spirt? This fun expression of your team personality and enthusiasm could be on full display at the Giant Jamboree. Send your video file to hq AT igem DOT org before October 27. You may see yourselves up on the big screen, so please be aware of your sound and image quality.
