ITHS TRANSLATIONAL SCIENCE ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM June 18, 2024 - May 27, 2025 Want to move your research discovery beyond the bench? The new ITHS Translational Science Entrepreneurship Program is designed to help you through the steps. This is a year-long program open to all health science, life science, bioscience, agricultural science, medical technology, digital health, and public health post-doctoral scientists, PhD graduate students, and inspired faculty members from Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, and Oregon academic and clinical entities, as well as CTSAs across the nation. The program will require each participant to bring their own project that they sincerely intend to translate into a product and company. Program dates are from June 18, 2024 - May 27, 2025. Applications are due on April 5,
2024.
LIFE SCIENCE INNOVATION NORTHWEST 2024 POSTER PRESENTATIONS
April 17 - 18, 2024 Life Science Innovation Northwest is our all-life sciences industry and startup conference to be held April 17-18. Researchers and startups with technologies on the translational path can apply to present a poster and attend the conference. This is a great opportunity to meet experts who can help you and receive feedback on your next steps. Poster Presentation Fees: - Student Groups: $250 - includes 2 full conference registrations
- Companies: $350 - includes 2 full conference registrations
Applications are due on March 20, 2024.
ITHS BIOMEDICAL INNOVATION FIRESIDE CHAT SERIES
This session in the ITHS Biomedical Innovation Fireside Chat Series, moderated by Josh Kim, MS, University of Washington, School of Pharmacy, will provide an overview and strategic guidelines for meeting FDA regulatory requirements for a range of technologies including medical devices, therapeutics, and digital health tools. Entrepreneurs with innovations in these categories need to take FDA requirements into consideration early and incorporate these into their overall business plans. WA INNOVATION NETWORK MENTORING PROGRAM The WIN Mentoring Program gives promising early-stage Washington Life Science and Global Health ventures world class advice and assistance through their most critical stages. In this milestone-focused program, entrepreneurs are matched with an all-star team of seasoned volunteer advisors. Entrepreneurs receive professional advice from teams of professionals with deep and diverse expertise in commercialization and business execution. Applications are due by March 21, 2024.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN RESEARCH HUB 2024 PILOT COHORT LETTER OF INTENT SUBMISSIONS This 2024 Pilot Research Funding Announcement (RFA) seeks proposals from non-Washington researchers in the WWAMI region that will support the translational advancement of promising health innovations. The program supports proof-of-concept and go-to-market strategy activities through milestone-driven funding. Supported innovations may span the spectrum of health
outcomes, including therapeutics, preventatives, diagnostics, devices, methods, or research tools that move the needle forward on unmet patient and public health needs. Deadline for submissions: Friday, March 29 at 5:00 PM (MT) RMT-REACH intends to fund four pilot projects with up to $50,000 each in this application cycle.
