Join regional program leaders for virtual “fireside chats” with biomedical entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts. Conversations are aimed at early-stage academic and community innovators who need to quickly learn the essentials. Sessions are free, held over Zoom and will be recorded.

Join us for a virtual event in the ITHS Biomedical Innovation Fireside Chat Series covering legal issues. Our experts will highlight essentials for startups including patents and trademarks, company formation, equity distribution, and company structure including board members and advisors.

Seattle Angel Conference
Apply by Feb 13! Participating startups get a review of their company and the opportunity for feedback from angel investors, plus the grand prize for the winner is $100K! The Seattle Angel Conference is the primary method Seattle Angel uses to find and fund new startups. CoMotion Innovation Gap Funding
March 4th Deadline - This 50K grant opportunity is open to UW faculty and postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students who are working with UW research teams, where the innovations are at the pre-company or licensing stage. Successful projects have used funds to research customer demand, research and validate markets, create prototypes, and initiate beta testing.
