Our Learning Academy Launch! BSLM Newsletter February 2022 No images? Click here Dear member, BSLM are proud to announce the launch of our Learning Academy. We have reached another milestone in our development with the opening of our Learning Academy. From next week learners will be able to access the first course made available through our Learning Management System, via a dedicated page on the BSLM website, for free. As members we want to give you the opportunity to experience the new, immersive learning experience before anyone else, so that we can gain your feedback and comments on the look and feel of the course. This will inform future course development as we define the “look” of BSLM courses. Fulfilling a promise we made at our 2021 Conference, therefore, our initial course, “Lifestyle Medicine: An Overview” will be made available free of charge to our BSLM Members, so keep an eye on your mailbox for instructions on how to access this at the beginning of next week. Looking forward to the launch Fraser Quin, BSLM Executive Director, commented, “This is an exciting day for BSLM and I hope that our members will enjoy the learning experience. There has been a lot of hard work to get us to this point and I would like to thank all of those involved for their invaluable input. We are currently developing a range of exciting and interesting courses and I am looking forward to sharing those learning opportunities with members over the coming months.” The Learning Academy is a significant step forward for BSLM and forms a key element of our future growth and development plans. It also establishes BSLM as a major player in the Health Education field, and is a sign that BSLM as an aspirational organisation continues to grow and develop its influence and outlook.
