Our Way Program. It supports local community, not-for-profit and sporting organisations to deliver initiatives to make sport more welcoming and equitable for women and girls, particularly facilities. For men there is the National Shed Development Program (NMSP). This grant can be used for shed improvements, tools , equipment and automated external defibrillators. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Grant Opportunities Amount: $96 million

Purpose: The grants will support organisations across four immediate activities: - Community-led Prevention Services, Programs and Campaigns for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children

Australian Cultural Diplomacy Grants Program Amount: $10,000 - $60,000

Australian Sports Foundation Purpose: The Australian Sports Foundation operate Australia’s only sport-specific and tax deductible fundraising platform to help cover things
like: - Sporting equipment: Purchase new uniforms or upgrade old gear
- Facilities and grounds: Fund new facilities or give existing ones a much-needed boost
- Coaching and training costs: Help athletes and teams reach their full potential
- Travel costs: Break down distance barriers and compete on a broader
scale
- Participation or development programs: Open doors for future champions

Community Energy Upgrades Fund Program Amount: $25,000 - $2.5 million
Closing Date: 30 April 2024
Purpose: The CEUF is a targeted, competitive grant program that provides co-funding for energy upgrades at existing local government facilities. The program aims to help local governments to: - Make their facilities more energy efficient
- Lower their greenhouse emissions and energy bills.

Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) Program Amount: $100,000 - $3 million
Closing Date: 5 March 2024
Purpose: To solve industry identified problems that align with the Government’s priorities, including our commitment to build a Future Made in Australia. Successful projects from previous rounds have spanned a range of issues from tackling plastic waste and cyber security to lowering emissions from agriculture and taking new Australian battery technologies to market. Financial Wellbeing and Capability Grant Program Amount: $120 million
Closing Date: Ongoing
Purpose: To support eligible individuals and families experiencing financial crisis and hardship. It can provide Emergency Relief and Food Relief, as well as Financial Counselling, Financial Capability or Financial Resilience services including Microfinance products such as low or no interest loans. First Nations Languages Education Program Amount: $14 million

PM's Prize for Science Closing Date: 8 February 2024
Purpose: The PM Prizes for Science are Australia’s most prestigious awards for outstanding achievements in scientific research, research-based innovation and science teaching. The Prizes also recognise the critical role primary and secondary school educators play in inspiring and encouraging students to take an interest and consider careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). National Justice Reinvestment Program Round 2 Amount: Undisclosed

Purpose: To reduce contact with the criminal justice system and incarceration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults and young people through support for place-based and community-led justice reinvestment initiatives across Australia. For more information: Click here

National Shed Development Program (NMSP) Amount: $10,000
Closing Date: 23 February 2024
Purpose: The program supports Men’s Sheds and organisations supporting a Men’s Shed to better respond to the needs of the members and their local community. There are 5 funding categories: - Health and wellbeing and events

- Tools and equipment
- Mental health and wellbeing events

On Farm Connectivity Program Amount: $3,000 - $30,000
Closing Date: 30 June 2024
Purpose: To enable primary producers in agriculture, forestry and/or fisheries to claim a rebate of between $3,000 and $30,000 for the sale of eligible equipment, with primary producers accessing discounted prices. The rebate can be claimed for up to 50 per cent of the cost of the eligible equipment. For more information: Click here

Play Our Way Program Amount: $50,000 - $1.5 million
Closing Date: 1 July 2024
Purpose: To support local governments, community, not-for-profit and sporting organisations deliver initiatives to make sport more welcoming and equitable for women and girls. Grants will be available in two streams: - Facilities – for projects that establish and improve sporting facilities that are designed for women and girls and further encourage them to take part in sport and physical activity by better meeting their needs
- Participation and equipment – for programs that encourage women and girls to participate and remain involved in sport and physical activity for life, by tackling barriers such as disadvantage or lack of equipment, and for programs that will lead to sustained cultural change in sport.

Schools Upgrade Fund Round 2 - Government Schools Amount: $250,000
Closing Date: 29 February 2024
Purpose: The SUF Round 2 will support government schools invest in larger-scale capital fund projects, such as new classrooms, building refurbishments, outdoor learning spaces or major upgrades. A minimum of $250,000 (GST exclusive) of funding must be committed to each project. For more information: Click here

School Student Broadband Initiative Amount: Access 12 months free broadband
Closing Date: 31 December 2024
Purpose: To provide up to 30,000 families with no internet at home free NBN for 12 months. To be eligible, a family must: - Have a child living at home that is enrolled in an Australian school.
- Have no active broadband service over the NBN network.

Sponsorship Grants for Student Science Engagement & International Competitions 2024 Amount: $1,500 - $15,000, with a maximum amount per student of $2,000 for domestic events and $5,000 for events requiring international travel.
Closing Date: 4 April 2024
Purpose: Schools and community groups can apply for grant funding to sponsor a student or group of students to participate in in-person and virtual STEM engagement events. For more information: Click here

Supporting People with Cancer (SPWC) Grant Amount: $40,000 - $120,000
Closing Date: 29 February 2024
Purpose: To enhance support for individuals affected by cancer by promoting equity in cancer outcomes and experiences.

Urban Rivers and Catchments Program R2 Amount: $200 million
Closing Date: 13 February 2024
Purpose: To restore rivers and waterways in our cities, transforming concrete drains into natural creeks with plants and animals. The program will fund projects including, but not limited to: - habitat and habitat ‘corridor’ establishment for native wildlife
- riverbank revegetation, stream re-naturalisation, and chain of ponds/wetland creation initiatives
- water quality improvement to
benefit aquatic species
- wetland creation to slow, filter and remove stormwater from aquatic systems
- re-establishment of ‘pathways’ to support movements and migrations of aquatic native species through installation of fish ‘ladders’ and 'passage ways'
- prevention of stormwater-sourced plastic entering aquatic and marine environments through installation of litter and gross pollutant traps.

Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program Amount: $150,000
Closing Date: 6 February 2024
Purpose: To support the commemoration of Australian veterans and their families. Funding for a wide range of commemorative projects is available under the program, with previous successful projects ranging from memorial walls and flagpole installations to video documentaries and solar light fittings. Purpose: Funding is available for all artforms in four categories: - Creative Koori Projects for individuals/groups and organisations up to $60,000

Tertiary Health Study Subsidies Amount: $12,000
Closing Date: Applications will close when all subsidies are awarded
Purpose: Are you a student enrolled in a health care degree? You can now apply for up to $12,000 in subsidies to support you in your studies!
This initiative will create a future pipeline of health workers with up to 850 nursing students, 400 medical students and 150 midwifery students expected to enter the subsidy program each year. For more information: Click here

Westfield Local Heroes Amount: $20,000

Purpose: This is a recognition and shines the spotlight on individuals who make a positive impact to their local community or environment. Community members nominate their heroes. The successful hero for each of the 42 Westfield Centres is awarded a $20,000 grant for the organisation or group they represent, and each finalist receives a $5,000 grant for their organisation or group.
