Prayers for Peace

Who is My Neighbour? Prayers for Peace in a Fractured World

An ecumenical Palm Sunday Prayers for Peace gathering is taking place on Sunday 29 March.  

The Anglican Social Responsibilities Commission (SRC), in partnership with the Uniting Church WA Social Justice Commission and other ecumenical groups, are hosting an ecumenical Palm Sunday Prayers for Peace gathering on Sunday 29 March starting at 1.00pm. Speakers on the day include Presbytery of WA Chairperson Rev Ken Devereux.

The prayer gathering on the lawn area of St George's Cathedral in Perth is open to all ages, to people of any faith, or none.
The gathering will be a simple, peaceful hour of prayer and reflection, centred on themes of social cohesion, neighbourliness, and healing for our communities.

Safe Church Awareness Workshop

There will be a Safe Church Awareness Workshop taking place on Saturday 9 May at South Mandurah Uniting Church.

All ministers, pastors, church leaders, volunteers, members of congregations and those involved in community services are welcome and urged to attend. Refreshments will be provided.

Uniting Church WA Busselton Campsite

Time for a holiday? The Uniting Church WA campsite is located in Siesta Park, Busselton, on the beautiful coastline of Geographe Bay - a great location for a beachside unwind.

Our campsite has 19 powered sites and 7 unpowered sites that can be booked individually by Uniting Church community, employees and agencies.
There is also has a large meeting room, upgraded ablution blocks and an outdoor BBQ area making it ideal for church camps, school groups and ministry retreats.

Presbytery of WA March Meeting
The next meeting of the Presbytery of WA will take place on Saturday 21 March from 9.00am to 4.00pm at Maylands-Mt Lawley Uniting Church. Annual Meeting for ARRCC WA
The West Australian Chapter of the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC WA) AGM will take place on Tuesday 17 March at 5.30pm.  The in-person meeting will be at Quaker Meeting House, 35 Clifton Cres, Mt Lawley from 5.00pm, or you can join online via Zoom. A special opportunity for people who have a concern for our best stewardship of planet earth for the benefit of all people and creatures, arising from spiritual or faith-based commitment. Come together to share, learn and to guide the shape of the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change in WA for the next stage of our life and witness. Rockingham Uniting Church Bible Study Series
