Message from iGEM Headquarters

Last month we announced some major changes to the competition. Thank you to all the teams who joined the Ambassadors for last month's call campaign in response to those changes. Your ambassadors are going to continue hosting  "Coffee Hours", and will be monitoring the new iGEM Global Slack workspace for your feedback. Don't forget, Ambassadors are also here to help teams host your virtual events or meetups. For all other questions, you can always email iGEM Headquarters at hq [AT] igem [DOT] org.

This month, we are bringing teams an exciting new event: Opening Weekend! Look below for a sneak preview. We are also happy to announce an early release of the iGEM 2020 Medal Criteria. In addition, if you have done iGEM before and want to be part of making it great for teams this year, we have openings in two new committees with applications due this month.

Keep scrolling to see what's new in the iGEM community this month.
