Social Justice Commission State Election Resources
State election resources by the Uniting Church WA Social Justice Commission are out now!
As part of their resourcing role, every election year the Social Justice Commission seeks to inform the Uniting Church WA community of issues they see as important to consider when voting.
The Commission have identified a number of areas of state government responsibility which has concerned the Uniting Church Synod of WA in recent years. They may also be areas in which the Synod has a particular work focus or an Agency which is engaged in the care or provision of services to those in need.
There are resource sheets to download on seven topics, along with a summary 2-page flyer for sharing. Click below to find out more, and to view and download the resources.

The Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania, in partnership with the Uniting Church Synod of WA, Social Justice Commission, have prepared a letter writing action asking the Australian Government to take further measures for peace in Palestine and Israel.

The Uniting Church WA campsite is located on Geographe Bay in Siesta Park, Busselton.
There are 21 powered sites and 7 unpowered sites that can be booked individually. Hire bookings are for members of the Uniting Church including congregations, and employees of schools and agencies.

- Wise voices: Short film gives older Western Australians their moment in the spotlight (Juniper) - Juniper have announced that their short film Wise: The Voice of older Western Australians will have its world premiere at the WA Made Film Festival in Perth on 22 February 2025.
- Jump into Summer Spirit 2025 - have you seen this latest video featuring Rev Andy Broadbent for Summer Spirit 2025? It's great for sharing with your congregations, or friends and family who might be interested in attending this upcoming event.
- New Worship Music Pack Released (UCA SA) - The UCA SA Centre for Music, Liturgy and the Arts is pleased to launch Music Pack #5 from the “Walk as One” songbook. This pack of six songs features wonderful Australian songs of gathering, prayer for others and ourselves, and blessing by Steve Bevis (NSW), Rosie O’Reilly (VIC), Sharonne Price (SA), David Busch (QLD) and Robin Mann (SA). Each song is included as sheet music, audio file, lyric video. Powerpoint files and text file. Music for churches of any size.
- The Council of Christians and Jews AGM - The 2024 AGM will be held at 2.30pm on Sunday 16 February 2025 at the Alexandra Hall, 20 Monument Street, Mosman Park The occasional address will be given by The Right Reverend Hans Christiansen on the topic Building Bridges in a Polarised World: Interfaith Dialogue in Schools.
