16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence
The Uniting Church in Australia joins people around the world in marking 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
The global UN Women-led campaign begins on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day. During this time the UCA Assembly will be sharing short prayers written by President Rev Sharon Hollis on their Facebook stories. Each day we pray for a world #BeyondViolence.
CCWA Ecumenical Christmas Service
The Council of Churches WA Annual Ecumenical Christmas Service is being held at St John’s Lutheran Church Perth, 16 Aberdeen Street, on Sunday 10 December 2023 starting at 5.30pm. Australian Music Artists, Robin and Dorothy Mann will be there as special guests.

ARRCC WA South West Multi Faith Prayers, Bunbury - A Multi-Faith gathering is being held on Tuesday 28 November, 2023 at Koombana Bay, Bunbury commencing at 8.30 am with silent meditation on the beach followed by a Multi Faith contribution of prayers and statements of support, then a solidarity march through Bunbury City giving support to successful negotiations at this year’s COP28.
Messy Church Summer Camp is being held for the 8th year in a row at the Uniting Church Campsite in Busselton from 29 December 2023 to 15 January 2024. The theme is ‘Mission Possible’ and there will be sports, games, craft, music, outdoor movies, bike rides, Messy Church Services and more. Go to the event page for more information.
