A word from StephThis week I was fortunate enough to sit on a panel with some incredible experts for Mindarma's webinar about Burnout and Fatigue. It got me thinking about my own current state and whether I practice what I preach. The short answer is – not
exactly. My boundaries between work and life are beyond blurred. I do not always feel present each day, often times moving from one thing to the next and forgetting to “arrive” anywhere. Then I thought further about the privilege in that. That I can work from home, that I have a safe home. That I have a job and technology to do my job. On the webinar on Monday, there were so many first responders and front line employees who are experiencing such significant burn out and who do so much to keep the rest of us safe. They educate our children, they respond to emergencies, they deliver babies and keep us healthy. Thank you for what you sacrifice.
The Kindness RevolutionConverge's upcoming free webinar presents an uplifting opportunity to hear from social psychologist Hugh MacKay AO, exploring how we create hope by channeling kindness.
