Election of the next Chair of Presbytery - After four years, Alison Xamon has completed two consecutive terms as chairperson of the Presbytery of WA and according to the Presbytery of WA Rules (P4) is unable to nominate for a third term. As such the Presbytery Standing Committee has convened a Chair of Presbytery Nominating Committee. The committee is chaired by Rev Steve Francis and includes as members, Rev Luke Williams, and Heather Hamblin. All members of Presbytery are asked to prayerfully discern if there is someone with the appropriate gifts and skills and some
knowledge of the structures of the Uniting Church who may be called to this ministry. If you feel you may know just the right person, please nominate them (with their permission) to Rev Steve Francis, steve.francis@wa.uca.org.au, so that our committee can meet with them and they can discern together. Please pray for Alison and our Presbytery at this time. Social Justice Commission State Election Resources - As part of their resourcing role,
