Francesca Whitelaw is formally bestowed the title of King’s Counsel on Silk Day

On 27 March, Francesca Whitelaw was appointed to King's Counsel at the official swearing in ceremony at Westminster Hall. Francesca commented, "It is an immense privilege to have been appointed. I am hugely grateful to all those who have helped and encouraged me along the way. I feel particularly fortunate to have spent my career - since pupillage - in such a wonderfully supportive and happy set of Chambers.". Read the full article here

Annual Police Law Conference 

As part of our commitment to police law, and our clients, we offer an unparalleled range of training - the highlight of which is the Annual Police Law Conference. This year's event will take place on 22 June 2023 at the Waldorf Hotel in London. The conference is for those who work in the police forces and solicitors who work closely with the police. This popular event is now full. Cybersecurity and the law

On Thursday 4th July we are hosting a breakfast briefing on Data Protection and Information Law at the newly refurbished meeting rooms of Inner Temple. The topic of the event will be 'Cybersecurity and the Law' and our guest speaker will be Christian Toon, Head of Cyber Professional Services at Pinsent Masons. Invitations will be sent out soon. AI and the future of the law

On Wednesday 3rd May we held a well-attended breakfast briefing on AI and the Future of the Law, hosted by Francesca Whitelaw KC, with guest speaker Peter Jackson from Outra and talks by barristers Alex Ustych and John Goss.
