The Whoopie Pie Festival is tomorrow!

The Third Annual Whoopie Pie Festival in Downtown Rutland is tomorrow, Saturday, September 14 from noon to 5 p.m. in Downtown Rutland!

Over a dozen vendors from across the East are bringing samples of their whoopie pies. Attendees can purchase sample tickets and vote for their favorite! A panel of judges will determine the "Most Creative" and "Best Overall" whoopie pies.

You can skip the long lines and buy tickets online here, until 1:00 p.m. today, Friday, September 13.

We are so excited to see Dream Maker Bakers attempt to break the World Record for Largest Whoopie Pie - over 1,100 pounds!

Come Alive Outside will host the Green Street on Merchants Row with other community partners. The MINT Rutland's Makerspace will host a Soap Box Derby down Center Street. There will be face painters, bounce houses, a magician, food trucks, and more! Downtown restaurants and stores will be open during the event.

There is free parking in the parking garage from 6 a.m. on Saturday to 6 a.m. on Sunday! Please use the parking deck to leave parking spots for customers at local businesses.

Center Street (Upper and Lower), Merchants Row (West Street to Washington Street), and Wales Street (West Street to Washington Street) will close at 5 a.m. for event set-up. All streets will be reopened by 7 p.m.
