Head shots and social media presence workshop

• Your student can have a professional head shot taken between 11:30 am-1:30 pm – Alter Hall Lower Level.
• Then they can use their new head shot in their social accounts and learn from Fox Marketing-Communications experts about managing their professional online presence in the workshop "Social Media: From Fresh to ProFresh!" from 12:00-1:00 pm – Alter Hall Auditorium.

New student scavenger hunt

Join up with other students as you explore our buildings and meet faculty and staff from the various departments and offices. Feel free to roam in teams or on your own! This is your chance to scope out the landscape and be better prepared. Prizes and giveaways throughout the day for participants!

How to access Fox career services

The Fox Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD) is open Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm in Alter Hall, room 134.

You can make both virtual and in-person appointments with CSPD staff members to discuss their job search, review their resume, prepare for interviews & more. 

In addition to offering 1:1 coaching appointments and networking events, CSPD utilizes the popular Handshake platform to promote hundreds of internships and job leads from employers looking to hire Fox School students and graduates.

Global immersion in Italy

Nicholas Salerno

The best two months of Nicholas's life were spent studying abroad at Temple's Rome campus. He immersed himself in the European lifestyle and through his courses learned about Italian art, religion and environmental issues in Rome. The program offered excursions to churches, Roman and Greek temples, a pizza and pasta making class, wine tasting and more! Nicholas took advantage of his time by traveling to Milan, Florence, Pisa, Tuscany, Venice, Salerno, Naples, Amalfi Coast, Positano, Sorrento, Pompeii, Capri and Sicily. He even spent several weekends touring London and Paris. 

Internship at PwC

Hamida Sanford
Junior accounting major
Home: Philadelphia, PA

Hamida kicked off her internship with PwC in Disney World at the national corporate training where she met interns from around the world. Back in the Philadelphia office, she gained invaluable experience learning about the roles of auditors, tax accountants, as well as niche fields like digital assurance and transparency.
