We need your help in shaping the future of HOPEWe are inviting our past and present Hope Programme participants to help shape the next decade of our work. This is more than just feedback—it’s about building a community-led movement for HOPE. We want to understand what matters to you, what works, what doesn’t, and your vision for what self-management support should look like over the next 10 years. Please answer as openly as you wish, everything you share is important to us. The survey is open until the end of August. We will share the findings, plans and stories in the autumn, so you can see the difference your input makes. Thank you in advance for helping us. We are grateful for you.
Anna Carlson, Hope 4 The Community CIC Head of Partnerships, with IIH UK conference attendees. Hope joins IIH UK national conferenceThis month, our Head of Partnerships, Dr Anna Carlson was delighted to be out in the community, joining the IIH UK National Conference in Staffordshire on Saturday 7th June. Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) is a neurological condition that causes raised pressure around the brain, often resulting in severe headaches, vision problems, and other symptoms. IIH UK, established in 2008, is the country’s leading voluntary organisation dedicated to supporting people living with IIH, raising awareness, and promoting research. At the conference, we shared highlights from the Hope Programme for IIH, including practical sessions on improving sleep and the benefits of gratitude. Attendees also took part in a mindfulness session and heard first-hand experiences from people who have already completed the Hope Programme. We are excited to be recruiting for the next programme, starting on 17th September.
