Award recipients gathered together

Awards of Excellence: Dr. John Yoo, Dean, joined the campus community at the Awards of Excellence to celebrate the faculty and staff members who have worked tirelessly to bring excellence to the School. Congratulations to all the award recipients. 

Faculty updates: Construction continues on the Biomedical Research Facility
as mechanical and electrical work is ongoing. Drywalling and painting has begun but is being affected by labour issues.  

Announcement: Dr. Cindy Hutnik, was appointed Chair/Chief, Department of Ophthalmology. 

Announcement: Drs. Robert Teasell and Keith Sequeira have been re-appointed Interim Co-Chair/Chiefs, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.  

Funding: Clinician researchers receive nearly $450,000 in research funding through AMSOS. 

Convocation 2022: The School recently celebrated the Doctor of Medicine convocation and the BMSc and Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies convocations. Congratulations to the graduating Classes of 2022! 

Funding: eCampus Ontario supports online EDI-D training in the medical sciences as the School receives $55,000.
