The MINT Makerspace Participates in Multiple Community Events
The MINT Team (The Make Believers) proudly took home the People's Choice Award. At the Lip Sync Battle on April 29.
We were able to raise almost 1/3 of the total amount raised through the text-to-vote initiative! Thank you to everyone who came out to join the fun, or supported Wonderfeet Kids' Museum from afar. This event, like so many others, proved once again that Rutland is such an amazing community! Our team had so much fun coming together, making the set and the props, and our costumes! If you haven't seen it yet, here's a link to the video. Our collaboration with Wonderfeet continues with The junior MINT. We are really excited about The junior MINT opening this weekend. We will have monthly themes and projects in the space. May is all about textiles. Be sure to head in and check out our small hand looms and lacing cards. On Thursday, May 11th, we will be at Wonderfeet as part of the Sip and Shop event! Always on theme, we will have a table and make-and-take area for folks to create their own
wine glass charms!
We are all about spring cleaning… There was an incredible amount of energy and enthusiasm at our volunteer work night last week! We had such a wide range of interests, ages, and experiences. Everyone pitched in to do so many things. The Textile Shop was fully rearranged and settled. We filled an entire roll-off dumpster! We swept floors, organized wood, built walls for new rentable studios, and even began to organize our woodshop hardware! This was yet another reminder of what a beautiful community thrives within our makerspace. Learn more about The MINT→

Welcome to Our New Members
Ava, also known as our Grandma, dedicated her adult life to landscaping for a facility that housed special needs adults in Vermont (until she moved to beautiful south Florida). Each day she would not only work on the land, but she also worked with people that needed help. She also owned plenty of her own land that she made beautiful with her magic touch. There was not a person that met her that did not love her. So we thought; what better way to carry on her legacy than to create a business she would love and name it after her! My business knowledge stems from my background in healthcare for nearly 17 years. I want to help those in need. Imagine knowing that you or your loved one would be able to live at home if only they could have a helping hand with some parts of their daily routines.
However, you don't know where to turn or whom to trust. Where do you turn? That is where Ava's will put your mind at ease. We want to help and if we cannot, we want to help refer you to someone we trust. This is what I would have wanted for my Grandmother and we want to offer that to others. If you have a need; call us and we will do our best to meet your need or refer you to someone who can! Ava's wants to help you from our hearts to your homes! We are servicing Rutland County Learn More About Ava's Home Care Services →
