Bowls, bangers and big wins at Centre Finals!

Auckland's Centre Finals was at its finest—a blend of sunny conditions, skilful play, camaraderie, and club spirit. With five centre titles awarded, it's no wonder HQ was buzzing.

From first-time winners Jordana Franich and Mark Posa, to gold star achievers Helen Blick and Kevin Dixon, and the incredible double title victory by Nicole Singer, we had it all.

Off the green, the vibe was just as amazing. Carlton Cornwall Bowls was the perfect host. President Gerard's umpiring expertise was front and centre, Jess warmly attended to players and visitors, and greenkeeper Patrick delivered a pristine green worthy of any championship event.

A huge high five to everyone who made this event a success. Let's carry this energy forward into an exciting 2025!

Exciting updates for the Molecheck 7s & Auckland Cup!

Big news for bowlers across Auckland: this season, the Molecheck 7s and Auckland Cup are getting a fresh look! These updates aim to create a meaningful experience for everyone...from the most competitive players to smaller clubs. Here’s a snapshot of what’s changed:

Molecheck 7s: Enhanced ‘premier’ challenge
We’re raising the stakes! Clubs can only enter one Men’s and one Women’s side.  Why...it will foster the best 'club vs club' environment. Winners will go on to represent Auckland at the National Interclub 7s.

Molecheck Auckland Cup: Bigger, better and more inclusive
With unlimited entries, a revamped format (Fours, Pairs, and 2-4-2 Pairs) plus flexibility in roles for players, the Molecheck Auckland Cup ensures everyone can get involved.

Prize pool
Who's going to say no to a doubled prize pool? $1,200 for first place and $600 for second!

Consistent matchpoint system
Both events share a clear and simple scoring system to keep things fair and exciting.

Entries
Entries open on 27 December and close on 9 February. Grab your BowlsHub number and contact your club to get involved!
