14th International Symposium on Concrete Roads, Krakow (Poland)

The Polish Cement Association and EUPAVE are organising the 14th International Symposium on Concrete Roads from 19 to 23 June 2022 in Krakow, Poland. The motto of the conference is “Concrete Roads to the Green World”.
The list of themes can be found hereExperts in these fields are called to attend this Symposium and to contribute with a paper and a presentation or poster. Anyone interested is invited to submit an abstract, around 300 words, written in English.

EUPAVE is participating to the online conference “weTHINK European strategy for public procurement in Construction. Beyond ideas – towards impact: Sustainable construction ”.
The online event will take place Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 May 2021. Ulrich Nolting, from InformationZentrum Beton, and Luc Rens will participate Tuesday at 10.30 and focus on the "Emissions of CO2 in construction".

9th Symposium on Pavement Surface Characteristics, 
12-14 September 2022, Milan (Italy)

Politecnico di Milano, the Italian Technical University in Engineering, Architecture and Design, will be hosting the next Symposium on Pavement Surface Characteristics. ANAS – Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group and the World Road Association (PIARC) will co-host the event.
You have until January 31th, 2022 to submit your abstract.

"Concrete paving records for India"

"A contractor in India has set records for the quantity of concrete paving carried out for a road project within a 24 hour period. The firm is working on an expressway for the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and was able to pave a 2,580m stretch during 24 hours. This is a record for Asia, and is also one of the longest sections of road ever paved within 24 hours anywhere in the world."
