Notification of close contact and COVID positive casesFrom 30 April 2022, SA Health close contact quarantine requirements changed. Close contacts must avoid non-essential gatherings, notify their workplace and wear a mask whenever they are outside of their homes. For University staff and students, this requires working/studying remotely where possible. Staff and Students who are close contacts or test positive for COVID-19 must notify the HSW Team via the online form. Click here for more information.
MasksIn line with SA Government changes, face masks are no longer required to be worn indoors while on campus. However as face masks do provide a level of protection from transmission of COVID-19, members of the University community are encouraged to wear a mask when they can’t physically distance from others. Disposable face masks are freely available at various locations on campus. SA Health requirements for mask wearing continue to apply including wearing a mask on days 8 to 10 after finishing isolation in the event of testing positive to COVID and at all times outside of
the home if you are a close contact.
