Not long until our awards night!! 

Nominations for our awards close 30 June 2023! We know there are several women lawyers who deserve recognition for their dedication to their roles and their legal talent. 

Our nomination forms are all online to make things easier for submission. To nominate your inspirational women colleagues, please visit the nomination portal.

There are a few award Sponsorships are still available, to read more, please visit our sponsorship portal. Sponsorship applications close 30 June 2023.  

Tickets are now live!! To purchase tickets please visit our Gala Dinner page. You can purchase single tickets or tables of 10! If you sponsor an award, you are automatically provided with a table of 10 tickets.

We offer a range of different memberships for Solicitors (CBD based and regional), Barristers, Judges and decision makers, Community lawyers, Legal Academics, Law Students and our Associate memberships for our male colleagues.

Law Students are free to join.

If you would like to be part of the Executive Committee of the Women Lawyers Association of NSW we have two casual vacancies to fill. 

If you would like to apply for a 6 month appointment, we ask that you email a 200 word application to our Secretary (Secretary@womenlawyersnsw.org.au) outlining your experience and why you think you’d be great on the executive committee! 

We welcome those of all backgrounds and skill sets, including law students. Please note that in order to be eligible to fill a casual vacancy you must be an individual or corporate member. 

Applications close by 7 July 2023. 

If you want to get more involved in the WLA or learn more about what’s involved in helping our sub-committees, whether that’s our ‘Welcome to the Law’ sub-committee, our Marketing and Communications sub-committee or Membership and Sponsorship or be part of our Newcastle Chapter, please contact our Executive officer to find out more!
