Changes to application to be exempt from the MVP enrolment requirement No images? Click here Friday 25 February 2022 Kia ora ,We look forward to you joining us for your programme in 2022. On 9 February we wrote to tell you that Unitec requires all learners to have a valid My Vaccine Pass (MVP) in order to have their enrolment for 2022 confirmed. If you have not already done so, this letter serves as a reminder to please submit your MVP immediately for verification. You may also be asked to show your MVP whenever attending campus. Please be patient and cooperative with any staff who may ask to sight and verify your MVP. They are doing this to help keep you and everybody safe and well. Please note that anybody who has not submitted their MVP as part of their enrolment, or who is unable to produce their MVP on campus upon request, will be required to leave the campus. If you are unable to provide your MVP, but wish to continue your studies with us in 2022 via some means other than attending campus, you may be eligible for an exemption to this requirement. From today, we have expanded the eligibility requirements. Applications for exemption are now open to any student who has already commenced their programme with us in 2021 or earlier (we have removed the requirement that the student must be scheduled to complete their programme in 2022). For information on how to apply for an exemption, see the process here The final deadline for application is Friday 4 March. This does mean that you may not get a result of your application until after the commencement of your course. While unfortunate, this is not an unusual situation and, should your application be successful, your School will discuss with you how you may best catch up on any lost sessions. Yours faithfully
