New pre-pregnancy resources availableTrend Diabetes has created a new leaflet for women of childbearing age with diabetes which helps them to understand the importance of planning for pregnancy and how to reduce the risk of complications. Including seven simple steps they can follow before becoming pregnant, it provides information on contraception, referral to a healthcare professional, glucose targets, healthy diet and exercise, folic acid, smoking and medication review.
