First of all, we'd like to welcome you back to work and hope you had a good vacation.

This busy year for EUPAVE is slowly coming to an end. On September 7, EUPAVE & FEBELCEM organized a workshop at Matexpo, which you can read about in this newsletter. The next EUPAVE event will take place at the PIARC World Road Congress, on October 4, 2023, in Prague. You'll find the program below. In December, EUPAVE's EU Advocacy WG will be organizing an event to be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Invitation to EUPAVE Workshop during PIARC World Road Congress, 2-6 October 2023 in Prague (Czech Republic)

EUPAVE will hold a workshop with theme "Optimised and sustainable concrete pavement concepts for the future" Wednesday 4 October 2023 at 14:30. The event will include 3 presentations: one on inductive charging by Mauricio Esguerra (Magment) & Tim Alte-Teigeler (OAT), one on the Optipave system by Eugen Florescu (Holcim) and one of the contribution of water pervious pavements by Elia Boonen (Belgian Road Research Center).

“Innovative case-studies on concrete paving” at the heart of EUPAVE/FEBELCEM workshop at Matexpo 2023

The Federation of the Belgian Cement Industry, FEBELCEM, and the European Concrete Paving Association, EUPAVE organised on 7 September 2023 a joint workshop on “Innovative case-studies on concrete paving” at MATEXPO 2023, Kortrijk.

MATEXPO is a biennial international trade fair for building equipment at Kortrijk Xpo. As the third largest trade fair of its type in Europe, it has an established reputation and receives more than 40,000 visitors.
