Dear Members and Colleagues, 

Notice of the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Women Lawyers Association of New South Wales to be held at the College of Law and via MS Teams at 5.15pm AEDT on Tuesday, 21 November 2023.

If you are a current financial Individual Member, Life Member or the noted Official Delegate of a Corporate Membership you can vote in the AGM. If you are not and you wish to vote please renew or join here before 3pm Wednesday, 8 November 2023.

Nominations are invited for the following Executive Committee positions:

•              President
•              Vice President
•              Secretary
•              Treasurer
•              Ordinary Committee Members (up to eight may be elected)

We encourage our members to nominate themselves or another member for a position on the Executive Committee. The Association would like to have a good representation of our membership base including those who live outside the Sydney CBD as meetings are held both in-person and via Teams. A link to the Nomination Form appears below for this purpose.

If you are unable to attend in person or via MS Teams I encourage you to vote using the online Proxy Form. This form must be submitted in writing and received by the Secretary no later than 3pm on Friday, 17 November 2023. The Secretary can be contacted on secretary@womenlawyersnsw.org.au or via our Executive Officer on executive@womenlawyersnsw.org.au or 0466 157 087.

To further assist with administration, the Association would be grateful if you would submit your Nomination (together with biographical details and an election platform not exceeding 100 words) by 3pm Monday, 20 November 2023, and advise Jasmine Lai, Secretary via our RSVP form, if you will be attending the AGM.
