Our work doesn’t occur in isolation, and there are many different people and organisations that we work with to achieve our goals. For some of our frontline roles, that could mean building relationships with community-based organisations, with family/whānau, or with the wider justice system. As part of our health teams, it could mean working with different healthcare providers, iwi and hapū, and other members of your multidisciplinary team. In this issue of Tiritiri, we talk to case manager Sefrosa about some of the different people she works with and how they contribute to her mahi. Even if you’re not considering a case manager role, it may give you some insight into the value of collaboration and why we can’t do our work alone.
