Are reduced parking requirements where Dallas is finally is headed?

How will new City of Dallas parking ordinances affect you?

As they kick the tires on potential changes to City of Dallas parking ordinances, our city's planning staff tells us "everything is on the table."

HOW DOES THIS MATTER TO YOU?

Where do your nighttime customers and employees park? Do they park ... or they walk? Do they take shared-ride services or mass transit? Is mass transit even available to your Dallas business from the time it opens to the time the last worker needs to leave at night?

What about loading zones? What will ordinance changes do to deliveries for restaurants, bars, hotels, and other sociable businesses? How will changes to parking policy affect apartment complexes ... and neighborhoods.

And what kind of city do we want to be, anyway? One full of cars — or one full of people?
