Alexis Bender, PhD, accepted into Hambidge Center Writing Residency
Congratulations to Alexis Bender, PhD, (Geriatrics and Gerontology) for her recent acceptance into the Hambidge Center writing residency. She is one of four individuals who were accepted into this program. She will be spending this time focused on her upcoming R01 application. About Hambidge:

Call for Application for the Assistant Dean and Director of the Office of Postdoctoral and Mentored Trainee Education (OPMTE)
This role involves leading a team that supports around 350 postdoctoral fellows in the SOM. The director will collaborate with SOM and university leaders to assess postdoctoral needs, crafting a robust program for their professional and managerial skill development. Candidates must hold a doctorate degree in biomedical sciences, with 10 years of independent research and mentorship, including guiding postdoctoral fellows. Read more
