The Business Wodonga Connection July 8th, 2022 No images? Click here Message from CEOHello Members, The coming week we begin our six weeks of our business community wellbeing activity – Wodonga Gems, beginning with a Media Launch Event being held at the Cube Courtyard on Tuesday July 12, 2022 at 11am. This activity is supported by the Victorian Government who have also put Allison, Shannon and myself through a mental wellbeing training program, along with Katia Murphy of Altior Health, Ken Howe of The Personnel Group and Trent Vlaming of Squad Recruitment. We have worked as a Team to bring this program of fun and light heartedness – some may say craziness – to you in an effort to brighten your lives, engage with you as part of a united business community and participate with others one small thing at a time. Tiny steps are mighty steps to a better state of mental well-being.
This equals Wodonga GEMS. Come along, show your faces and have a good laugh. We need to do that. Business has been tough but a few moments of fun and laughter with your fellow business community members will help move the focus to a better practice of wellbeing. Business After Hours is coming up on July 20 at The Hyphen. Late registrations can cause havoc for the caterer, so please register as soon as possible. In order to cope with the challenges of providing quality food and service amid staffing challenges and shortages of some food supplies, our caterer has asked for final numbers by no later than July 20, so to ensure your admission, please book today. This will be a good opportunity to network with your business peers and have a laugh about participation in Wodonga GEMS. -Graham Business After HoursHyphen – Wodonga Library Gallery is our city’s cultural hub, a regionally based, state-of-the-art facility located in Wodonga’s CBD will be the host for Business After Hours this July. Do not miss out on this exciting opportunity to see all Hyphen has to offer our community now and into the future. Surprises around every corner and constantly changing programs and displays will ensure there is always something new to see and learn.
