Wodonga Switchboard Manufacturers was formed by Peter and Sue Russell in 1988. In 25 years of business of Wodonga Sheet Metal and Wodonga Powder Coaters have also formed under the WSM banner.

Wodonga Switchboard Manufacturers build switchboards from the ground up at the one site, and we can build any switchboard from MCC’s to SCA’s, multi-metering and fully type tested switchboards. WSM have switchboards on sites everywhere from as far north as Queensland to as far south as Geelong.

Wodonga Switchboard Manufacturers were one of the first board builders in Australia to build a 6000 amp type tested switchboard which is currently operating at Shorko in Wodonga and a 7000 amp type tested switchboard which is operating at the Cement Australia Plant in Gladstone.

Starting with no more than one fabric sample, Wendy started visiting fabric suppliers in Melbourne to make a start on realising her dream.

From Wendy’s small dream, enviro drapes & shades has now grown to service customers from a huge radius of 250km around Wodonga.

Wendy, and her Warrior's,  Christine & Claire are the lovely ladies who  together, can combine the creative use of materials that will enhance your windows and assist in the achievement of the energy rating required for your home.  

Did you know that Wendy & Claire are the only two woman in our region who are doing an apprenticeship in Window Furnishing & Installation?  Talk about Girl Power - not only can they create a amazing space, they can install it all for you also.  One stop shop.

Wellbeing with a Difference

All of us on the border have been through so much and still have many challenges ahead of us. So how do we put some focus on our own wellbeing? BY MAKING IT FUN! 

Business Wodonga will be running a 6 week fun competition called The Wodonga Gem Awards. There will be daily, weekly prizes, scavenger hunts, snowball fights, costumes and so much more! We will be working with businesses, teams and local owners to have fun and make positive changes one small challenge at a time. 

TINY IS MIGHTY.  

Each week will have a different theme and each day will have a different game or challenge. Some are small and can be done in just a minute or two. Some have more steps but will be equally fun to complete with coworkers, friends or family. There will be an online scoreboard so you can keep track of this friendly Business Community community competition. Challenge a fellow business, share it with your friends or just see how many points you can stack up during the 6 weeks. 

Why Wodonga? 

Tell the Wodonga Story one word at a time. This will be a community interactive word cloud that will show what we love about the Wodonga community. Solving Stonehenge

Stonehenge wasn’t a druidic temple, an amphitheater, or a cosmic calendar; it was an unfinished construction project. Create what you think Stonehenge was going to be before funding ran out, using materials found in your kitchen, house or office.

This form is to collate the expressions of interest for any businesses wishing to be an exhibitor, attendee or if you would like to advertise a job posting during the event on 1st September, 2pm-8pm.

We are also gathering EOI's for an opportunity for potential employees, students, employment agencies or other interested parties to have tours of your business facility.
