THIS WEEKEND: Spot Landing Contest at TIMMERMAN

Join us on Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 AM

Join us at Milwaukee County's Timmerman Airport for our annual test of landing precision. Pilots will compete to see who can land closest to a designated line painted across the runway. Whether you're looking to test your skills or join as a spectator, this event is flying-fun for everyone.

Pilots participating in the contest must attend the mandatory safety breifing at 10:00 AM in the main airport terminal. Sign ups will take place at the event, and RSVPs are not required to attend. FREE LUNCH will be provided for all attendees.

We hope to see you there!

The Perfect fall flight 🍎

An autumnal adventure awaits!

As the leaves change with the seasons, there's plenty of gorgeous views to take in by air this fall. But, if you're looking for even more fall fun to add to your flight, try landing at Orchard Landing Apple Farm in Hanover, Illinois!

Just beyond the Wisconsin-Illinois border, this apple orchard has its own private grass strip runway available for those flying in to pick apples or pick up some tasty treats like apple cider, donuts, honey, and more! Owners of the farm, Nathan and Karen Greiner, are both private pilots and built the business out of their love for aviation.

Orchard Landing is open every Friday-Sunday, and will close for the season the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Visit the website below for airport information, specific hours, product listings, and other updates!

For this year's contest, entrants are encouraged to imagine how aviation and air sports can help save lives.

Take Flight & Grab a bite!

The perfect dinner date is just a quick flight away

If you're looking for somewhere fun to fly for a quick dinner out, the Fort Atkinson Airport is the perfect place to land.

This beautiful and quaint airport sits just along the Rock River, about 36 nautical miles from Milwaukee County's Timmerman Airport (MWC). You'll land on a singular paved runway and once you've arrived, taxiing to the northernmost point of the airport (and the lack of any perimeter fencing) will put you just a few steps away from a classic Wisconsin meal at The Edgewater Supper Club.

This unique riverside supper club features delicious classics like Wildmer's brick cheese and fried cheese curds, a shareable relish tray, salads, steaks, chops, and seafood. The family-owned spot is well-regarded for its inviting hospitality and its signature Wisconsin-style Old Fashioneds.

Next time you're looking for a short flight and a delicious meal, plan a trip to the Fort Atkinson Airport and The Edgewater.
