The Business Wodonga Connection May 6th, 2022 No images? Click here Message from CEOHello Members. Whilst we still have many challenges post COVID closures and broad restrictions, isn’t it great to see our world coming back to a new form of normal. I enjoy particularly being able to see the smiles of hospitality and retail people as they serve me, instead of them being hidden behind their facemasks. Events are back on and there is still time to register for next Wednesday’s “A Time to Grow” with our very own Tash Callewaert presenting her very personal story of resilience. We believe that this will be a truly inspirational event and well worth you investing time to be part of. After Tash speaks, there is time allowed for networking with finger food available. If you would like a beer or wine at the same time, you will be able to purchase your refreshments at bar prices, other than that, this event is completely free to us, courtesy of Victorian Government funding. You won’t want to miss out, people will be talking about Tash’s story for years to come. Squad are hosting this month’s Business After Hours on May 25 at Michael & Stacey’s Church Street Hotel. Squad have achieved the major milestone of forty years in business and really want to celebrate with you – in fact you are welcome to join them until well into the evening, way past the normal 7:30pm closure at most Business Afters Hours. Book early to avoid disappointment is my advice to you, as the venue does have a capacity limit. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at these two major events. -Graham Change In Focus: Change LeadersChange Leader: A 'can-do' style that respects people & enables them to just get on with it.Regional businesses have experienced their fair share of disruptive change over the past 2 years. ![]() A Time To GrowAs a business owner for over a decade, Tash understands the challenges that small businesses face when every role displayed on an ‘org chart’ is often the responsibility of that small business owner. Tash first started to understand how she could share the journey of the business owner when she was asked to contribute to a publication called ‘Know the Game’ a book As the owner of Quest Wodonga, when the pandemic hit, Tash and her business, including her team, were decimated. How Tash navigated this uncharted territory and kept her business trading is testament to her skills, resolve and determination. You don’t want to miss her story. Note: As this is a Victorian Government funded event, entry is open only to Victorian businesses and their teams. ![]() Mondo's Project EDGE is an exciting opportunity for business owners in the Wodonga region to put your unused renewable energy to work for you, your community and the environment while receiving significant financial benefits on subsidized solar and battery systems, and annual energy bills.
