Multiple DPMR members are currently at the “World Summit of Trail Running”, Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) in the week long trailrunning festival in Chamonix that started on August 28th and ends on September 3rd. " A New John Muir Trail RecordRenee Elsdon Jacobs recently returned from finishing the John Muir Trail with her just turned 6 year-old son, which set a new record for the youngest kid to complete the trail. "Despite the difficulties set in place by a record winter, my son and I finished the John Muir Trail on August 19th (right before the hurricane blew in!!). He was 5 when we started in Yosemite Valley and we celebrated his 6th birthday on the trail, shortly after Pinchot Pass..." Member Highlight- A member highlight that is WAY overdue! Geoff is "one of the OG members of DPMR and has been with us since 2014 when the club first started." He's also a regular at the annual pub run, so there's a good chance you'll see him there!
