As the Program Pathways Mapper (PPM) enters its fifth year, we are proud to continue serving higher education institutions in California and beyond in achieving Guided Pathways benchmarks. Over the years, PPM has helped countless students navigate their academic journeys, and we are excited to share some upcoming events and key updates with you below to further that mission. Thank you for being part of this journey as we keep striving for student success and institutional excellence! Message from CraigSustainability, integration, user support, enhancements, hiring, growth…so much has been happening with Program Pathways Mapper– it is hard to know where to begin! As 2024-25 kicks into high gear, we see the PPM becoming the standard for developing and sharing clear, valid, and vetted program maps and transfer pathways in California. Additionally, PPM is a founding partner for the inaugural Strategic Transfer Summit, which is bringing together transfer statewide leadership from the CCC, CSU, and UC to review the current state of transfer and make informed action plans to strengthen it. The PPM is staying true to its core principles, integrating widely with a variety of partners, including CCGI, ASSIST, the CSU Transfer Planner, ELumen, CurriQunet, and more. Its maps are also being integrated into the most modern data infrastructure the CCC system has ever seen, the Common Cloud Student Data Platform, where they can be used to provide progress tracking and early support. The growth in adoption of PPM continues to astound, as well, with 58 community colleges live and 14 more in the onboarding process. That’s 62% of the system! And we are seeing similar growth in CSU and UC adoption, which are showing signs of catching up–with 39% of CSUs and 20% of UCs engaged. This is really just the beginning. Truly, the sky's the limit for ways PPM will support students in achieving their dreams. ![]() PPM Updates and TipsWebsite UpdatesProgrammapper.org will undergo content, design, and sitemap restructuring to refine its visuals, navigation and overall user experience. Elumen + CurriQunet Integration API with PPMWith this latest integration API, you will now be able to auto-pull your local curriculum data with a click of a button! This will not only expedite PPM adoption and data updates, but it removes the need to reformat, download, and templatize your local data. PPM's Soon Integration with AB 928 + AB 1111A statewide initiative to create a single transfer pattern of courses (AB 928) and uniform course numbering (AB 1111) for equivalent courses across school systems to ease student confusion when transferring units across campuses.
