RHYMETIME AND STORYTIME IN THE PARK!The Stanton Storytellers are back, with multiple Covid-safe sessions held each week in Civic Park (right next to the library).
Rhymetime sessions for ages 0-2 combine rhymes, music, singing and puppets to help develop early literacy skills.
Storytime for ages 3-5 is an interactive storytelling sessions for pre-school children, fostering an early love of reading and developing literacy skills and social interaction in readiness for school.

Manager of the Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter, Narelle Hand will take us on a journey through the life and day to day operations in the shelter. In discussing the lived experience of its residents, Narelle will focus on the dedication of the staff who support and care for the women who seek shelter, and how their practises create positive change in women’s lives.

DISABILITY INCLUSION ACTION PLANCouncil is seeking feedback to inform the preparation of its next Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) which details actions to be undertaken over the next four years to build a strong community that is inclusive of people with disability. The DIAP focuses on addressing the structural and attitudinal barriers that prevent people with disability from having equal access to information, places, services, transport, housing, education, training, employment, and social opportunities.
