DEADLINE POSTPONED TO 15 MAY 2021!

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS | 14th International Symposium on Concrete Roads

The Polish Cement Association and EUPAVE are organising the 14th International Symposium on Concrete Roads from 19 to 23 June 2022 in Krakow, Poland. The motto of the conference is “Concrete Roads to the Green World”.

A wide range of 11 themes covers all aspects of concrete pavements from design to preservation, including case studies and innovative concepts and developments. A special focus will be given to all sustainability issues, such as the green deal, the circular economy, economic and societal topics. The list of themes can be found here

In addition, 2 special sessions will be organised on base layers and on concrete block paving.

Experts in these fields are called to attend this Symposium and to contribute with a paper and a presentation or poster. Anyone interest is invited to submit an abstract, around 300 words, written in English.

PAVEMENT NOTE 003 - LOW NOISE CONCRETE PAVEMENTS

The ASCP National Executive has spent considerable time developing the third of its industry briefing notes - Pavement Note 003 “Low Noise Concrete Pavements - Smooth, Safe, Durable and Cost Effective Texturing (LNDG)”.

The Note presents a concise summary of the economic, environmental and performance benefits of Low Noise Diamond Grinding (LNDG) with recent example projects on the Hunter Expressway and Pacific Highway.
