Director's Message

I’m really pleased to be launching our 2021 career and employability series: Making Your HDR Work.

This year we have expanded the series to cover a range of new topics, with a dozen sessions running from 2 November to 8 December.

You will learn about different career opportunities within and outside academia as well how to identify your skills, plan your next steps, build connections, and apply for jobs.

Highlights of this year’s program are two career panels featuring a number of PhD alumni from both humanities and STEM fields and a workshop on developing emotional intelligence, an important skill any career.
