At King’s, we have a wide range of academic opportunities, support services and resources available to help you make the most of your study time. So, we've pooled together some opportunities and insights to help you boost your skills and develop a study approach that works for you... Try an Academic Skills Workshop ![]() There are two Academic Skills workshops running regularly before and during the assessment period which are open to all King's students. These sessions 'Revision and Exam Strategies' and 'Think Like An Examiner!' are focused on different strategies for success in your assessments. Make use of Libraries & Collections ![]() King's staff are on hand to help you navigate their wide range of resources available digitally or across King's campus libraries. You can also take part in their online and in-person workshops or receive more tailored support. ![]() Booking an appointment If you need help finding further material to use in your exams and assignments, you can book a one-to-one appointment with a King's librarian. New slots are added every fortnight, and you can choose to meet in-person or online to receive the guidance you need. Evaluating your sourcesThere are a variety of online tutorials where you can learn more about how best to search for, access and evaluate academic sources. The newly updated 'Evaluating Your Sources' course also includes a section on key considerations around generative AI during your evaluation. ![]() Finding your study spotYour study space plays a vital role in helping you learn and absorb new information, and King's has a wide range of great study areas across six campus libraries.
