Ordination of Chelsea Size
In late November, 2021, Rev Chelsea Size was ordained as a Deacon in the Uniting Church. The service, coordinated through the Wimala Presbytery, was held at the Para Hills Community Hub, which was appropriate for her call to minister as a deacon to those in the community. Read more

The Centenarian Portrait Project by Teenagers
The Centenarian Portrait Project by Teenagers is a community arts project that promotes intergenerational friendships, celebrates life at 100 (in all its forms) and fights the negative ageing stigma. Each rendition of the program involves 100 teenage artists and 100 centenarians, who undergo a life-affirming intergenerational process. Read more

Reflection of the week
The Christian belief in the Trinity says that God is absolute relatedness. God is our word for the ultimate ecosystem that holds all things in positive relationship (see Colossians 1:17). As long as we’re in honest and loving relationship with what is right in front of us, the Spirit can keep working in us and through us and for us. Read more
Prayer points
This week we pray for:
- For the emerging partnership with the United Methodist Church in the Philippines and the Uniting Church’s on-going partnership with the United Church of Christ in the Philippines.
- For the people of Ukraine and for the wisdom of world leaders that they may be able to restore peace to the region.
- For all First Peoples upon the recent anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations. For justice and truth, healing from deep trauma, and for strength of connection to culture and country.
