Celebrating 35 years of industry leadership

IT'S A WRAP!

Thank you to our delegates and sponsors for making the 2025 Leaders Forum an outstanding event!

ADIA and our members thoroughly enjoyed the recent Leaders Forum conference, which celebrated 35 years of excellence in industry leadership.

With 96% of delegates and sponsors expressing satisfaction with the event and 86% saying that the program content was directly relevant to their work, it's clear that attending the ADIA Leaders Forum is essential for industry leaders and provides a unique opportunity to connect with peers, share valuable insights, and engage in meaningful discussions.

Members reported they benefited from the rich content and networking opportunities and the reassurance that they are not alone in facing the same business challenges, opportunities, and threats. Leadership can often feel isolating; however, the Leaders Forum creates a supportive community where industry leaders can learn, collaborate, and inspire one another.

This year’s program featured top-tier speakers who challenged our thinking, expanded our understanding, and helped shape the upcoming year. We also enjoyed a five-star experience among friends, peers, and new connections.

The program opened with global executive and former tech CEO, Steve Vamos, who shared lessons from his 40-year career in information technology and digital media in Australia, New Zealand, the US and Asia.

Vamos was joined by a stellar line-up of guest speakers, including the ever-popular and thought-provoking Cherelle Murphy, EY’s Regional Chief Economist; Robyn Adcock, National Placement Manager Cyber and technology, Gallagher and Head of Incident Response, Atmos Group; Reece Corbett-Wilkins, who shared emerging cyber threats and how businesses can better protect themselves; and Jan Thijs Accenture Song, ANZ Head of Data and AI.

We also heard from loneliness expert Associate Professor Michelle Lim and Cato & Clive partner Clive Mathieson who taught us how to protect our reputations, as well as leading the panel discussion with The Evolved Group Partner, Garreth Chandler, Luma Research CEO, Sally Joubert and FiftyFive5 Partner, Jenny Witham who explored the industry’s history and upcoming trends.

Sponsor and long-standing ADIA legal counsel Andrew Maher from CIE Legal provided a Privacy Law update, and the upbeat and energetic leadership expert Lucy Bloom wrapped up the day with many laughs and anecdotes (and invisible showbags).

Of course, we were also delighted to see Future Leader Emma La Grue receive  recognition and her medallion for winning the 2024 Research Got Talent competition.
